Over the past two years, the Tour de Cyprus was officially escorted by the North Cypriot police on one stage..
This exceptional support created a true professional peloton feeling — with increased safety, smooth traffic management, and an experience many participants described as:

“Just like riding in a pro race.”

For 2026, we are once again in contact with the relevant authorities to make this special highlight possible again.

Important Note:
A police escort cannot be guaranteed, as it is subject to official approval.
If granted, the escort will apply to one combined group on the designated stage for safety and organizational reasons.

Regardless of this, the stage remains one of the most emotional and impressive highlights of the Tour de Cyprus.

Stages 2026 – The Complete Route

Day 1 – Larnaka → Dipkarpaz
115 km · 700 m elevation gain
Remote coastal roads, little traffic, endless sea views.

Day 2 – Dipkarpaz → Karavas
125 km · 1,000 m elevation gain
National parks, rolling hills, and the beauty of North Cyprus.

Day 3 – Karavas → Polis
121 km · 1,500 m elevation gain
The Queen Stage – mountains, villages, and pure Mediterranean feeling.

Day 4 – Polis → Limassol OR Polis → Saittas
110 km · 1,400 m elevation gain (alternative: 100 km / 2,400 m)
Akamas Peninsula, coastal climbs, citrus plantations (into the Troodos Mountains).

Day 5 – Limassol → Larnaka OR Saittas → Larnaka
80 km · 600 m elevation gain (alternative: 95 km / 1,300 m)
A relaxed final stage to roll out together (gentle climbs, brilliant descents).

Balance due 30 days before the event
Cancellation fees:
- Up to 60 days before → 20%
- 59–30 days before → 50%
- Less than 30 days → no refund
Participation at your own responsibility
Helmet use is mandatory
Route or accommodation changes may be made for safety or organizational reasons
The escorted stage is subject to official approval
